Project Description

Shumargie school was made of old corrugated iron sheet and open walls. Children were exposed to wind, rain and dust as they sat on the ground during classes. In order to serve the entire community with facilities better suited for learning, a new Shumargie School was build. Kodem volunteered its time and skills to spearhead the project, to raise funds and to manage the logistics required in building a project overseas.
