Stratton Mountain Resort is transforming into a four-season, world-class destination. To support this transformation, the commercial village’s design vision sought to generate commercial activity through improved design, while reshaping the commercial street into a pleasant pedestrian experience.
Kodem was engaged by Intrawest to act as development, design and construction manager. This mandate involved assembling a development pro forma and a construction budget based on potential rental revenue. Kodem hired a design team to create a vision for the street, oversaw the design process and negotiated a fixed-price construction contract with a general contractor while also overseeing the construction process.
