In response to a Request for Information (RFI) from Concordia University in April 2006, the Seville Development Group (SDG), headed by Kodem, teamed up with Claridge to develop the concept for this student residence project on the site of the Seville Theatre in downtown Montreal. The building includes 1100 beds, green courtyards, various amenities and commercial spaces on Ste-Catherine Street. Kodem led the investing team, managing the zoning change and the development process. From the design concept to the financial model, Kodem was instrumental in this project’s development.
